    Abstract
    Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (qualitative). The objectives are as follows:. 1. To identify and synthesise barriers and facilitators of successful community engagement in infectious disease clinical trials (e.g. HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria) in low- and middle-income countries; and. 2. To identify and synthesise strategies for engaging community stakeholders in infectious disease clinical trials in low- and middle-income countries. Copyright © 2022 The Cochrane Collaboration.
